On February 5th, Hefei Gotion High-tech Power Energy Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gotion High-tech, signed a memorandum of understanding with European battery manufacturer InoBat. Both sides will rely on their respective technological advantages, complementary capabilities, and common concepts of sustainable development, to jointly explore cooperation opportunities, including the joint venture construction of 40 GWh production capacity in Europe, to promote changes in the field of power battery and energy storage.

According to the agreement, they will discuss cooperation in manufacturing and technology research and development. In the field of cell manufacturing, both parties will jointly explore the construction of 40 GWh cell and Pack plant in the form of joint venture, in the field of technical cooperation, based on their advantages in the field of lithium iron phosphate and ternary battery, in the field of energy storage, both parties will jointly explore the potential of energy storage battery production based on the existing InoBat factory in Slovakia, so as to explore the European market as soon as possible. In addition, both sides are committed to establishing technical and commercial cooperation in the operation of the facilities, and jointly discussing feasibility plans for recycling the production of waste and scrapped batteries.
